The pool and deck must be cleared of all swimmers in the event of thunder or lightning.

Parent or responsible guardian must watch their children closely whenever they are near or in the water regardless of their age or swimming ability. Children wearing "floaties," "water wings," etc., and/or unable to swim, must have an adult with them in the water within arm's reach at all times.

The test will include having the child swim one length of the pool (without help or touching the bottom) and tread water for one minute. Children who do not pass the swim test will be restricted to swimming in the shallow end of the pool and must have a parent/guardian present at all times. Children who pass the swim test will be noted and may enter the pool without a parent or responsible 16-year-old guardian.

Patrons and guests who resist or fail to comply with Facility and Pool Safety rules may be asked to leave the pool deck.
